Dumbo Platinum Pearl White Over Halfmoon Live Male Betta Fish

I ordered a platinum dumbo halfmoon male betta fish. The pictures of the fish looked amazing but when I received the fish and unboxed him he was in terrible condition. His fins were all clamped, he was so skinny he could barely swim, and he had some type of deformation in his spine. I tried to figure out how he could’ve gotten in such terrible condition in just 24 hours (i paid and extra $75.00 to have him overnighted so he wouldn’t be in shipping for more than a day or two) but my only solution was that he was already in terrible condition when they shipped him. I quickly set him up in a hospital tank with kanaplex, short epsom salt soaks, and indian almond leaves, and heavy tannins hoping to save him. By the fourth day he honestly looked worse and was floating on his side. I made the decision the humanely euthanize him simply because I saw zero improvement and he was very uncomfortable and struggling. I’ve ordered from here before and my other bettas also came in some not so hot conditions but they eventually got better, but they weren’t passed the point of saving like this betta was. I just feel that for the price I paid for that fish he should’ve been in much much much better condition and the seller should’ve never even packaged a sick fish. Unfortunately I won’t order again considering this is the third sick fish I’ve received from this company and I should’ve learned my lesson a while ago…but maybe I just got the bad luck of the draw.

I had my fish shipped to me and I'm thrilled! My betta arrived alive and in great shape, with the acclimation process being a success. He is friendly, coming up to the glass with a clear association between people and food. Im glad I ordered from here to get exactly what I wanted instead of trying to compromise my wants with what was available around me.

This is my second day with my betta. Packaging was great definitely well done and secured. He is health and very active. I was nervous buying online but glad I did. Very satisfied with this beautiful guy!
